Each of our rooms are specially designed to ensure your children have the best possible experience.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has been mandatory from September 2008 for all registered providers working with children from birth to five years.
At the heart of the EYFS is the principle, “Every child is a competent learner from birth, who can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured” Department for Education and Skills.
We use the Key Person approach to form a base of loving and secure relationships, we work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals making links which support experiences and learning within the community.
The welfare, learning and development of children is of prime importance, the organisation of the nursery and the daily routines are in response to the observed needs of the children.
Babies and young children learn from active play and exploration. The environment we provide, both indoors and outdoors, offers a range of such experiences and diverse learning.
Children with special educational needs are welcomed both within our nursery and Pre-school. All children will be assessed by the Nursery Manager, who, after liasing with the child’s parents or carers and the local authority if necessary regarding specialised care, equipment and staffing will decide if the child will benefit from inclusion.
